I am an independent arts and culture practitioner with over 15 years of non profit management experience
My experience is in connecting community to meaningful experiences, and brings a blend of inquiry and innovation that fosters interdisciplinary work between dissimilar sectors on Treaty 6 territory.
I have worked to articulate and implement a foundational vision, values and purpose through collaboration with steering and advisory committees comprised of community, board members and staff.
Human Resource Manangement
Leadership including developing individual work plans as well as training programs for mass delivery, staff supervision of up to 10 direct reports and mentorship (both paid and volunteer) in both unionized and non-unionized environments.
With over 10 years of unit supervision and planning including project work plans, program evaluation, budget and timeline monitoring and reports for funder accountability.
8 years of annual forecasting, development of annual operational budgets, securing and managing funding from multiple sources, variance reporting of up to a $1M budget while negotiating the tension between revenue goals, and program accessibility.
8 years of building and maintaining positive relationships with typical and atypical stakeholders for everything from reviewing and amending contractor and service agreements to community led facilitation and program co creation.
